Time off work over the holiday season allowed me to catch up on some serious home shopping viewing on TVSN.  I came across a series of ybf Beauty shows where the guest presenter was Stacey Schieffelin.  Stacey is a former Ford model and founder of the Model’s Prefer brand which has previously graced the TVSN screens.  The ybf beauty brand is new to me, so my interest peaked as Stacey and the TVSN presenters were having so much fun demonstrating the products, and the ladies bravely started each show with a completely bare face.  I sent in an email while the show was live to air, and was so pleased to have my question answered  – Yes!  The lip products are gluten free!

There comes a day when you feel the urge to rev up the energy, to look behind a new door and discover the gal you were meant to be. No one understands this fiery desire better than ybf (your best friend). ybf beauty was created for and by YOU – our girlfriends! Your feedback develops and navigates the ybf philosophy, “empowering women to live the life they dream using beauty as a tool!” Much like our successful premier brand Models Prefer, we created a line that we know you will fall in love with over and over again every time you receive it! ybf beauty was introduced in 2008 featuring paraben-free formulas in beautiful, prestige packaging – a #1 seller at HSN (USA) QVC (UK), TSC (Canada) and TVSN (Australia)!

I purchased a kit from the ybf Beauty brand, and included were two ybf best selling products – a Neutralizing Creme and Neutralizing Pressed Powder.  Both of these items are available from the line as individual items, and this post is to share my first impressions with you.

At first glance both products have an obviously yellow tinge, with the creme a few shades darker than the powder.  Both of these products are suitable for all skin tones and aim to cancel out blue circles and redness from our skin.  The lemony yellow creme blends easily with the warmth of your ring finger.  The powder is finely milled, and did not cake or look heavy under my eyes after application, or in the hours that followed.

Neutralizing Creme Powder

The next photo is both the Neutralizing Creme and Neutralizing Pressed Powder next to white tissue, so you can really see the true colour of the products.  Don’t let the yellow tint concern you, as I have very pink toned skin but these products worked beautifully on me.

Neutralizing vs. White

During the TVSN shows the presenters applied this over foundation, but for my first few uses I have been using it before foundation, then topping both off with the ybf Neautralizing powder.  The photos below, taken a moment apart in slightly different light, shows the difference between the eye on the right of screen (no product) and the eye  on the left.  In my opinion the eye to the left of screen has a even skin tone from the inner corner of the eye and the blueness under my eye is also ‘neutralised’.  For these photos I used a teeny tiny amount of product and the results are still noticeable yet the product is undetectable.

I can already say that I have been thrilled at the quality of these two cosmetics.  In addition, the products are paraben free, cruelty-free, and the range is affordably priced.

ybf Beauty is available in Australia from TVSN and like most purchases from their network comes with a 30 day money back guarantee.
