Here are some swatches of the three Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadows I purchased recently.
These eyeshadows have a mousse like texture, and are incredibly long wearing. They can be applied as a subtle wash of colour, or layered for greater intensity. I don’t bother using an eyeshadow primer underneath, and the colour stays true all day and night.
I have three colours, seen below in a close up. This photo was taken in natural light, without flash.
From left to right:
86 Ebloui (red bronze), 83 Illusoire (purple), 85 Mirifique (graphite).
In slightly different lighting, but still natural light. From top to bottom:

85 Mirifique (graphite).
83 Illusoire (purple)
86 Ebloui (red bronze)
Chanel says: “This intensely shimmering long-wear eyeshadow offers true versatility. An innovative gel texture that is both soft and cushiony allows it to be worn as eyeshadow or eyeliner. Includes a specially designed shadow/liner brush, developed specifically for this unique formula.”
The cost of these eyeshadows if purchased from Australian retail outlets is AUD $48, but the savvy shopper will head to Max’s of Norfolk Island to utilise duty free pricing of just AUD $36. That makes the pricing even with the US pricing of USD $36.

I think I’ll treat myself to that Ebouli, it looks amazing! I love the thought of no messing with a primer first. PS you look like a model in your pic post in this stuff!!! xx
Aren’t you sweet! Love the bronzey colours!
